I started another journal to keep track of all the wonderful changes we see over the course of the spring. This isn't a field journal; I'm not always recording things in situ because it's often either too cold or too wet (this is B.C. after all). Early on I mostly took photos, but lately I've tried to paint on site; I often do research when I get back home. The drawings are quick and dirty (I'm not very good at illustrating birds), and the text is quite chatty since it's for non-naturalist friends and my own future reference.
This is like a blog, so the most recent pages are at the top. (If you'd like to see them in sequence, please scroll down and start at the bottom.)
