2018 08 04A - The Flats

The 'Flats', i.e., the Somass estuary, is a marvellous place for painting with all its gorgeous textures and shapes. I load my French easel and an umbrella onto the back of my bicycle and pedal over. With the heat these days, I've been having to go really early because I have to quit by 0930 or 1000. The pastels start to melt!
