Coats' Marsh is a great place to find overwintering and migrating birds. Today, we saw Hooded Mergansers, Violet-green Swallows, a Bald eagle and three Turkey Vultures, all while being chorused by a jubilation of spring peepers. There was even a beautiful, bright green tree frog that just about jumped onto my husband's foot.
